Hardik Pandya said it feels amazing to be part of the Mumbai Indians set-up and he has loved the way different players have put their hands up and delivered at different stages of IPL 2020 for the defending champions. Hardik and Krunal Pandya expressed confidence that it's going to be Mumbai Indian's year once again.

Mumbai Indians clinched a place in their 6th IPL final on Thursday after handing Delhi Capitals a 59-run thrashing in Qualifier 1. Rohit Sharma's men have taken the shortest route to the final, scheduled on November 10.

Mumbai Indians are bidding to become only the 2nd team after Chennai Super Kings in 2010 and 2011 to defend the IPL title. Thursday's one-sided win also made sure Mumbai reached the final in successive seasons for the first time.

"For me, the best part about this season I have loved is, this team is never about Purple Cap, never about Orange Cap. I mean it's never about individual brilliance. But I have to tell you that I am so proud of this team this year because individuals have stepped up when even some of their teammates haven't. If someone has had a bad day, I have seen multiple times that someone has put his hand up and done it," Hardik Pandya told Mumbai Indians during a chat with his brother Krunal.

"And the best thing about this team is that it has so many match-winners.

"This team is just fantastic and I just wish that... and we will get it. I am confident about the final, just play good cricket, hard cricket and honest cricket. And we will take the cup with us. Let's get the cup one more time. It's coming."

I am glad Jasprit Bumrah is in our team: Hardik

As Hardik Pandya pointed out, there have been an array of match-winners who have delivered for MI in IPL 2020. Three of their batsmen -- Ishan Kishan, Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav are in the top 10 of the batting charts this season as many bowlers are in the top 10 of the bowling charts. Jasprit Bumrah, with 27 wickets, has the Purple Cap while his partner-in-crime Trent Boult is not far away with 22 wickets.

Jasprit Bumrah came up with career-best T20 figures on Thursday as he demolished the Delhi Capitals batting line-up with 4 wickets for just 14 overs.

Hardik Pandya and Krunal said they are in awe of the India pacers with the former saying he is fortunate that Bumrah is his teammate at Mumbai Indians.

"Jasprit Bumrah has always been bowling those crucial overs and getting those crucial wickets," Krunal said.

"That guy has been really amazing. Actually, I am glad he is in our team and I don't have to face him," Hardik said.

Mumbai Indians will take on the winner of Qualifier 2 in the final in Dubai on Tuesday. Delhi Capitals will take on the winner of Friday's Eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
